Just leave the ad code where it is.Once your blog has the custom domain and you can get to your blog by using the custom domain url, then apply for the upgrade. It's fine if it's still hosted on blogger. You just need the new domain. To request an account upgrade you got to submit your custom domain once it's redirected to your blog.See the instructions here:https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/2534771?hl=en&ref_topic=2811251&rd=1It...

The short answer is that if the AdWords bid value is £1 then you will not get £1 per click on an ad.
The bidding process is complex and depends on numerous factors, many of which are not publicly known.
Yes, mobile ads may be lower than desktop, but the converse could also be true.
Regardless, whatever the advertiser actually pays for the click, you will only see £0.68 if it were £1 because Google take the other £0.32. That's the publisher cut of the click value.
The ads which are displayed on a particular page will often be different to another....

Blogger never shows correct stats for Adsense because blogger reports everything - spam visitors, robots, people without JavaScript in their browsers, people with ad blockers turned on etc. Adsense doesn't record any of those.
Google count page views and impressions only when ad code is executed by a user's browser. There are therefore several factors that would cause a discrepancy between the statistics you register in your logs and those listed in your AdSense account. Instances that wouldn't execute the code include:
Spiders, robots, or...

If more than half of your visitors leave your site by visiting only one single page then your bounce rate will drastically go up and you will be notified it on Audience overview under Google analytics account dashboard.
Increased bounce rate hampers Adsense RPM rapidly!
Suppose you have placed maximum three "Ad units" on every single page of your site and each...

In early internet days, you may see a site notice asking everyone to click the ads. The day has gone long time ago. If Google detects possible cheating, there is no such thing as presumption of innocence. They assume that you are guilty.
Do not click your ads. If Google catches you, they will suspend your account and retain any earnings you might have. However, if you, by mistakes, click your ads for one or two times, Google will keep that earning but rather not to punish you as long as it doesn't happen constantly.
Google has a lot of restrictions...

Although Google doesn't release exact details as to how they determine the ads to serve on a given page, they do say that it's the text content of the page that matters, not the meta tags.
Avoid non-English characters on English pages. There is a bug which can cause these pages to show irrelevant French ads.

No not directly, the amount paid by the advertiser determines the CPC and there are multiple things which determine which ad is show, mainly the content of the site, geo location of the viewer, the viewers browsing history etc.
Obviously there may be indirect things where the location of the publisher could have an indirect effect. The location of the hosting company could have a slight effect, as could the type of content added (or the fact that new content isn't being added).
In Short: The country of the viewer is more important than...

Ad RPM is simply meaning the ratio between Estimated earnings and total ad impression are multiplied by 1000. In calculation we see that
Ad RPM = (Estimated earnings / Ad impressions) * 1000
To increase and decrease Adsense earnings Ad RPM plays great role indeed, since the advertising bit types are different and many advertisers prefer cost-per-thousand impressions (CPM) rather than CPC or CPE types so you can see a gradual rise up or drop in Adsense earnings which are mainly affected by Ad R...

There could be a few reasons but one could be that there were some higher paying advertisers that were placement targeting your site & by changing your URL you lost all of them until they find your new domain. Another is that even though you're using the same ad code since the ads are on a different site the bots aren't placing the same ads to the new domain that they were placing on the old.
Over time as the bots crawl your site more & advertisers find the new URL it may improve but it may take a while & it may not ever get back...
